İsmail Çoban was born in Sivas in 1962. He attended Sivas/Gürün Başveren Elementary School and Atatürk High School. After completing his education at Trade Vocational High School, he completed his bachelor’s degree at Preston University. Çoban founded Şölen Çikolata ve Gıda Sanayi in 1989 and still serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors. He has won many awards including "Turkey’s Entrepreneurship Award" and the "Most Successful Businessman Award" and a member of TÜSİAD. İsmail Çoban is a father of 4 with a keen interest in economics and finance, exercise, tennis, and reading.

After completing her higher education at Middle East Technical University’s Economics Department, Elif Çoban worked as a part-time instructor in the Economics Department at Bilkent University. At the same time, she completed her master's in economics.

At the beginning of her career, Çoban worked for a variety of companies. Then, focusing on foreign trade, she started to work as an export manager at Şölen, founded by members of her family, using her foresight to utilize the potential in their export department. Between June 2010 and 2022, Çoban served as Şölen’s Chief Executive Officer and continues to serve as Board Member today.

The winner of the “Women To Watch Award” from Advertising Age and MediaCat magazines and the “Entrepreneurial Businesswoman of the Year Award” from the Antalya Businesswomen’s Association (ANTIKAD), Çoban shares her experiences as a speaker at many universities, business summits, and conferences. Çoban also ranked 17th on the "50 Most Powerful Businesswomen" list prepared by Fortune Turkey Magazine.

Ali Çoban was born in 1969 in the Gürün district of the province of Sivas. As his family moved to Gaziantep, he completed his education there. Ali Çoban started his business life at Şölen Chocolate and continues to serve there as the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors. In addition to being a council member of the Gaziantep Chamber of Industry and the Exporters Union, Çoban is a father of 4.

He graduated from Marmara University’s Faculty of Business Administration, then continued his education at Drexel University and completed his MBA at Sabancı University. Çoban started his career at Şölen Lojistik Limited and then became the International Sales and Marketing Coordinator and Domestic Sales and Marketing Coordinator at Şölen Çikolata Gıda Sanayi.

Erdoğan Çoban received his bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Yeditepe University and completed a Project Management Program in the USA. Throughout his educational life, Çoban gained experience in a variety of positions, mainly in the supply chain, at Şölen, a family-owned company. After completing his education, he started his full-time career as Project and Investment Manager at Şölen in 2014. In 2016, he became Quality and R&D Director. After two years, he added the Iraq Region sales processes and then all export processes to his portfolio, becoming the International Business Unit & R&D & Quality General Manager in 2020. In July 2022, he took over the position of Şölen’s Chief Executive Officer. Erdoğan Çoban, who is married and has two children, is also a member of the Board of Directors of Şölen.
